Witney
The Witney Neighbourhood includes the surrounding villages and is covered by a team of police officers, police community support officers and a sergeant.
A Neighbourhood Action Group, led by local residents with partnership organisations, sits alongside the team and together they tackle the community’s top issues.
In November 2011, 330 local residents were consulted on their top priorities.
The current top issues were identified as:
- Youths hanging around / intimidating behaviour and perception
- Speeding
- Litter / fly-tipping
- Vandalism / graffiti
- Parking
- Lack of youth activities
Regular work is carried out on these issues and monthly updates are compiled by the neighbourhood team. (go to downloads)
