Thames Valley Police's aim is to work in partnership to make communities safer.

Thames Valley Police is a major partner in the Community Safety Partnership, with four police employees based in the West Oxfordshire District Council offices.

Neighbourhood Policing rolled out in West Oxfordshire five years ago which saw an increase in working with the District Council's Community Safety Team and other partners to reduce crime and disorder and the fear of crime.
