We all know bullying goes on to some extent in every school but it's how it's dealt with that makes the difference.

If you are being bullied then tell someone you trust, whether that's a parent, older sibling, teacher or friend.

Bullying includes:

  • Name calling
  • Threats and intimidation
  • Physical violence such as hitting, punching or shoving
  • Damaging or taking things away that belong to you
  • Sending you abusive or offensive phone calls, texts or emails
  • Spreading rumours, whether that's verbally or on the internet

Help is at hand

There is an Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator that works for Oxfordshire County Council who helps parents and students. You can telephone 0845 262636 for more information or visit the county council website.
